Play in any Texas Hold'em cash game at Empire Poker Room and win a pot with 5/6 'suited' as your two starting (hole) cards, and you’ll receive a cash game rake-free pass.This is limited to one rake free pass per table. If a player at the table is holding a pass already you win this from them.

Rake is a small percentage we take from each pot to keep your favourite games going. To contribute to the rake, you must have been dealt cards and at least seen the first three community cards, also known as 'the flop'.

A few final things for you to remember:

If the hand does not reach the flop, no rake is taken - 'no flop, no drop'.

If a player wins a pot using 5/6 suited, they will win a rake free pass.
These are limited to one per table.
A supervisor/floor person must be called in order for a Rake Free Pass (RFP) to be issued.
In the event that another player at the table has a RFP, this will be passed on to the winner of the Empire Hand and their voucher will no longer be valid.
The hand can be won at any stage of the hand and does not have to be at showdown.
Both cards will need to be tabled in order to qualify.
Any foul play that may influence the outcome of the Poker hand will result in a voucher not being issued.
Players who already have The Met Card account must be signed into the Bravo software at the table in order to qualify for the RFP.
A minimum of four players must be dealt into the hand (excludes Omaha).
The RFP must remain visible beside a players chips whilst at the Poker table.
Promotional Rake will still be taken from each qualifying pot after the RFP is won.
Any breaks longer than 35 minutes will forfeit this voucher.
The RFP is not transferable to other tables.
The managements decision is final.
No cash alternatives/change is given.

An RFP is forfeited if a table breaks.
In a situation of running the board twice, the RFP can only be won if both boards are won.

Why play anywhere else?

The Cash Race will run every calendar month and is only open to Met Card holders.
Met Card holders will be awarded Met Points for each day (6am to 5.59am) they make a playing visit.
A playing visit is defined as playing in a raked house dealer dealt cash game.
It is the Met Card holder’s responsibility to offer their Met Card at the point of a qualifying transaction. Leisure Met Card holders are excluded in participating in the monthly Cash Race.
Where tracking is applicable, Metropolitan Gaming (MGUK) uses reasonable efforts to track a participant’s play; however, as a condition of receiving Met Points for table games play, or other non-electronic games, participants agree that such Met Points are granted based on the personal observations of MGUK employees, which is subject to error. The determination of MGUK shall be final with respect to any discrepancies.
Met Points can be accumulated for a maximum of 8 hours of play per gaming session.
The Top 50 Met Point earners and Top 10 High Hand players on the respective leader boards will be invited to play in the Cash Race Tournament.
In the event of a tie all players tied will be invited to play in the Cash Race Tournament.
The Cash Race Tournaments will take place on the first Sunday of every month with the Top 15 finalists from the Cash Race tournaments winning a cash prize based on the pay-out structure displayed in the Poker Room, first place will also win a WSOP Team Empire Package for the following year.
The WSOP Team Empire package includes: $10,000 buy-in for the WSOP Main Event for the following year, return flights to Las Vegas and travel insurance, transfers to hotel and accommodation, branded Empire Poker Room merchandise, ‘Team Empire’ experience whilst in Las Vegas (to be determined by management).
There is no cash alternative/refund for any part(s) of the package.
Packages can only be transferred to another Met Card holder (within 14 days of winning) who has qualified for a Team Empire Cash Race or previously played in a WSOP tournament at the Empire with prior agreement from the Empire Casino management.
Travel arrangements will be made for all team members to travel together. These flights will be fixed dates and any adjustments to the flights or travel accommodation will be at the expense of the team member. There are no refund or cash alternatives to the original arrangements.
If a package is transferred, it must be done as a whole. Flights, accommodation and buy in will be in a single persons name only.
Players must confirm all details within 14 working days of winning a package so relevant bookings can be made.
Winners must wear an Empire badge at all times during WSOP tournament play. These must remain visible during all Main Event tournament play. No other promotional badges must be worn during the WSOP Main Event without permission from Empire Casino management.
If a package is transferred, the nominee assumes all package winner expectations and responsibilities.
Package Winners must arrange and obtain their own ESTA/Visa for right of entry into the USA.
The team members will be fully responsible for adhering to any Covid-19 entry requirements into the USA and the UK on return, if required.
Players entering the WSOP events must be over the age of 21.
Each team member will need to provide the Las Vegas hotel with their credit card details. The credit card will be charged for an incidental deposit and any other costs accrued during the trip.
Players will be required to participate in marketing commitments which include but are not limited to photographs, videos and social media posts. These will be scheduled in London and Las Vegas. These will be scheduled in advance and must be attended by all Team Empire members.
If any team member is participating in any product/service marketing which may be a conflict of interest to our own, their package may be cancelled.
The management reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion at any time. All management decisions are final.
If a player has his/her Met account suspended or cancelled before the tournament, they will forfeit their place/package.

THE HIGH HAND LEADERBOARD

Play in our Texas Hold’em cash games during the last 10 days of each month. A high hand leaderboard will be created, and if you secure a spot among the top ten highest hands during that period, you will qualify for a place in the next Cash Race Tournament.

The promotion will run ongoing from 22 May 2024 on the last 10 days of every calendar month and is only open to Met Card holders.
A High Hand leader board will run during the promotional period for qualifying hands, valid on Texas Hold’em cash games only.
The minimum qualifying hand is Quads Deuces (22223) and both hole cards must be used for the hand to qualify.
The top 10 players on the leader board at the end of play on the final day will be entered into the next Cash Race tournament.
If the board has been run twice, only the first board will apply.
If a player who has qualified through the High Hand leader board, has also qualified through the top 50 Cash Race leader board, the player in 11th place on the High Hand leader board will be awarded a place in the tournament.
All places won are non-transferrable.
